Zombie Apocolypse Plan

On the night of December 20th I plan on sleeping with my Gerber hunting knife and a can of sliced peaches. I don't think that the world will end that night, but better safe than sorry. I don't think I'll get much sleep that night and I'm guessing that when I wake up I will turn on the news right away. If there are no stations and only static then I will put my Zombie survival plan into action. We have a crawl space below our house so that's where I will immidiately move all my stuff. The "ceiling" which is really our floor is about 4 feet high and the thing that makes this the perfect place to hide from brain-munching zombies is that there is only one entrance. So after the first day of moving in I expect to have the couch, my bed, and about a few weeks supply of food. I will also bring my dog and a bunch of candles down there to keep it light when I sleep, that's when it's not my turn to keep watch. After the food runs out, me and my family will have to go to the car and drive into toown for food and supplies, and to check for other survivors, this is Phase II, weapons are essential to this phase because I expect much resistance. After we all return, hopefully, we will load our new supplies in and repeat for as long as we can. After a couple of months or years I suspect there will be a lack of resources and we will have to pack up. This is Phase III, I hope we still have a car and gas at this point because this will be a lot harder without one. After we pack up the car we will head north to washington island, hopefully we still have one of our boats too, (I'm kinda banking on having most of our stuff). Once we get to the island I hope there will be many survivors and no zombies because zombies cannot swim. Then we will join the Island colony and periodically go back to the main-land for supplies, food, ext. Once settled on the island we will live happily ever after... Until the zombies figure out how to operate machinery like boats, then this plan will go down hill very fast.
